Ever wanted to be a Magician? Want to make and perform Vanishing Tricks? Learn and perform baffling and mysterious magic? This super, fun, workshop is led by Magic Carpet Theatre’s Jon Marshall, a Member of The Inner Magic Circle with Gold Star. It lasts one-and-a-half hours and is suitable for boys and girls over 5 years. All participants make and take away several magic tricks to amaze their friends and family and all materials are provided.
You will defy gravity, make water disappear, make a Magic Wand and float it in the air even read someone’s mind! You will be able to try all these stunts and tricks.
Get In and Strike - 30 mins maximum
Number of participants - Maximum 40 approx
Age range - We suggest 5 to 13's
Time – We suggest 1hour 30 mins.
Materials – All materials are provided. Card, string, paper, glue sticks, playing cards, envelopes, elastic bands, child’s scissors etc.

Magic Carpet Theatre have full Public Liability Insurance, Risk Assessments and demonstrate the safe way to attempt and practice all skills. We follow the National Youth Circus Guidelines.

I have been involving children with Magic Carpet since the 1990s. Every single show is outstanding. Every show is different and I am continually impressed with the interaction between the performers and the audience. The ability and desire for impromptu interaction is a rare quality these days - the desire to allow children to participate is a refreshing change in this 'top-down' world. In this production, though extremely well written and performed, the children shine. I cannot do anything else than strongly recommend Magic Carpet to absolutely everyone. i have seen them work with 300 children and also with 75 in large halls and small halls. My advice - book them now before it's too late! Many thanks Magic Carpet for bringing a bit of Magic back into education- for everyone!
